Three homes go under contract

What 7.60% costs on a Newark home

On Newark's median asking price of $1,298,000 with 20% down, the loan is $1,038,400, inside the $1,249,125 high balance conforming limit for Alameda County. Principal and interest comes to $7,332 a month at 7.60%, against $6,832 at 6.89% on September 1. That is $500 more every month than at the start of September.

Homes are still going under contract at these rates, and a price cut or a seller credit is worth asking about. If you are looking, Harv Balu and Liliana Mayen will send you every home that fits your search.
